Apple & Google Wallet marketing
Add the Wallet channel to ActiveCampaign
Turn ActiveCampaign contacts into live wallet passes, and start automations when one is added.
Get startedWhy connect it
What the ActiveCampaign integration does.
Contacts become passes
Every contact turns into a live wallet pass, created the moment they add it - no bulk generation, and nothing issued to people who never open the email.
Pushes from your automations
ActiveCampaign has a real Webhook action, so a lock-screen message can be a step in a journey you have already built - not something bolted on from outside.
Install state on the contact
Five custom fields stay current on every contact, so you can segment on who has added their pass and who hasn't, and follow up on the difference.
Personalized with their details
Put any contact field on the pass - a name, a tier, a balance - and it stays in sync automatically.
Live in three steps
Connect ActiveCampaign
Paste the API URL and key from your Settings > Developer page. We check them against your account before saving, so you know right away if something is off.
Personalize the pass
Choose the contact details to show and how the pass should look.
Add the button
Paste one link into an email. Every recipient gets their own pass.
Two-way
What lands on every ActiveCampaign contact.
PocketPass writes these back as each pass is issued and installed, so Wallet becomes something you can segment on without leaving ActiveCampaign.
| Field in ActiveCampaign | What it holds |
|---|---|
PocketPass ID | The pass id. Use it to trigger a push from an automation, or from the API. |
PocketPass Link | This contact's own add-to-wallet page. Works on both wallets - it offers the right one. |
PocketPass Apple Wallet | Straight into Apple Wallet, skipping the install page. |
PocketPass Google Wallet | Straight into Google Wallet, skipping the install page. |
PocketPass Installed | Whether they've added it. Segment on this. |
Use it in a ActiveCampaign campaign
Drop the pass id into any message with ActiveCampaign's own merge syntax:
%POCKETPASS_ID%ActiveCampaign tags are the field name in CAPITALS between percent signs. It is one of the few CRMs that resolves them inside a URL as well as in body text, which is what makes the one-line push setup possible.
How it stays in sync
Webhook-driven
ActiveCampaign's contact webhooks cover adds, edits, unsubscribes and tag changes. Tags matter more here than elsewhere: applying one doesn't count as editing the contact, so the webhook is the only thing that sees it in real time. A twice-daily sweep runs behind it.
Push from a ActiveCampaign automation
Add a Webhook action to any ActiveCampaign automation. Its action is a URL and nothing else - no headers, no body to compose - but it does resolve personalization tags inside the URL, so PocketPass builds you the whole thing to paste.
Connect with a key, not a redirect
ActiveCampaign doesn't offer a connect button to outside apps, so instead of bouncing you through an authorization screen you paste your API URL and key from Settings > Developer. PocketPass checks them against your account before saving, so a typo is caught there and then.
Lists, segments and tags
All three come across as audiences you can target, because ActiveCampaign merchants use all three. Segments are computed on ActiveCampaign's side and cached for up to an hour, so a contact who has just qualified can take that long to appear.
Installs can start an automation
Switch on event tracking and adding or removing a pass records an event against the contact - so a thank-you, or a win-back, can run from the automation builder you already use.
