A tour of the dashboard

What each section of the PocketPass dashboard is for - Overview, Passes, Pass templates, Notifications, Developer tools and Settings - so you know where to go for what.

Updated 7/26/2026

The dashboard has six places you'll actually use. This is what each one is for.

Overview

Overview is the landing page. It shows the onboarding checklist while you're setting up, and four counters once you're running:

  • Issued passes - how many passes exist on the account.
  • Added to wallet - how many have been installed on a real device. The gap between this and issued passes is your install rate, and it's the number worth watching.
  • Notifications sent - how many passes have received a message.
  • Templates - how many designs you have.

Each counter shows movement over the last month, so you can see direction as well as total.

Passes

Passes is the record of every pass you've issued. From here you can:

  • Search by your own reference or by pass ID.
  • Filter by template and status, and sort by newest, oldest or reference.
  • Select rows and act on them in bulk - add tags, remove tags, archive.
  • Download the current view as a CSV.
  • Switch between the Active and Archived tabs.

Click any pass to open its detail page, where you'll find its install link and QR code, whether it's been added to Apple or Google Wallet, its install history, and a panel for sending that single pass a test message.

See Issuing a pass and Tags and bulk actions.

Pass templates

Pass templates holds your designs. Each template has two tabs:

  • Pass template - the visual builder, with a live Apple/Google preview.
  • Issuance form - an optional hosted form that lets people claim a pass themselves.

See Pass templates: the basics and Issuance forms.

Notifications

Notifications is where you message pass holders. The list shows every campaign with its audience, when it went, how many were delivered and its status. Open one for the full delivery report.

See Sending a notification.

Developer tools

Two entries, both under Settings but surfaced in the sidebar because they're used often:

Settings

Settings covers your account, your API keys, your webhooks and your team. See Your account and Team members and roles.

Two things that save time

Search. Press Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K) anywhere in the dashboard to jump straight to a page or record without navigating.

The account switcher. If you belong to more than one account, the control at the top of the sidebar switches between them. Everything you see - passes, templates, notifications - belongs to the account you currently have selected. See Working across multiple accounts.

The help assistant sits in the bottom-right corner of the dashboard as well as the help center. It knows which page you're on, so asking "what does this do?" from a page usually gets a useful answer.
